in peace we live

i did not know how much work and energy it takes to organise one big evening...until the last half year. but it was worth every second, and i mean it. to work with the organsiation "ärzte ohne grenzen" on that special evening was a true experience. it was a bit like sneaking into another world, the real world. connecting and touching all those things that happen outside our protection shield, discovering the bitter taste of truth, at least a little bit. i want to thank everyone who worked with me on that evening, worked with me to make the 21st of april 2008 in the konzerthaus vienna become a very special day and night in my life. i've changed thoughout the last couples of months, i thought many things over and i think i came to a final point for myself: we can't change the world, we can't change the desasters, they will happen. we can only try and be as good as possible in what we are supposed to do. i am - we are - happy about everyone who likes to buy the cd "in peace we live" - with the purchase of the cd you support ärzte ohne grenzen/medecins sans frontieres and their very important work. just send me an e-mail. we'll get back to you (we ship worldwide!). thank you.

what has been a regular routine some years ago, has become a bad habit nowadays. means, i don't treat this space as nice, as i should. the last update is nearly a year ago...which, to say it in german "speaks bände"! instead of boring you and tell you, how busy i have been (which is true of course) and how much work there still has to be done, i think i'd rather tell you, that i am happy about the songs i wrote with klaus waldeck on his new album "ballroom stories". right now they make me play a lot of concerts with a lovely band for even lovelier audiences. have a look at the upcoming dates on my "love" site and maybe join us. smoozeebee! p.s.: i've changed again. my hair is black and short now, which is not that interesting, i know. but it is a nice way to change your daily routine easily and effectful, i find, i mean changing your haircolour dramatically, does have an effect. haha.

after 2006 turned out to be the zeebee-year of album-release stress and concerts all over the world in places such as brazil, north america and germany, i am happy to announce the first concerts for this fresh green winter here in austria - go for 'love' to check it out. the year starts with a nice pre-release, i highly recommend! my friend and dear musical collaborateur klaus waldeck has just released a new single to his upcoming album AMERICA. check out the song ADDICTED written by zeebee and waldeck on the waldeck-ep MAKE MY DAY. buy on I-Tunes or at soulseduction.com. well, that's it for today. i have many plans for this year and now i already fullfilled two of them: i finally cut off my long, long hair and i wrote you a letter! ahhhh.....what a relief. thank you for listening. have a great 2007! yours, zeebee

so finally i found the right picture for this newsletter. my second album priorities, is finished and will soon be available all around the world and my debut „chemistry“ is pinned on lydia lunch's wall under her beloved teddybear as part of her installation 'you are not safe in your own home' for fierce festival, birmingham, uk, 2004.
what more could i ask for?
in march we are planning one or two release-parties in austria.
in april i will head off to south america to play some club-gigs and festival-shows in BRASILIA, BRAZIL

hello, this is zeebee speaking. welcome to my new website. in two days my second album „priorities“ will be released officially in austria. a few weeks later in germany, switzerland and worldwide on iTunes and amazon.com and through other distributors.
it took about two years to write, produce and finish. a lot of wonderful people have been involved and i’d like to thank each of them from the bottom of my heart. and now i’d like to touch your heart with music, pictures and thoughts that hopefully inspire you to keep on using and spreading YOUR very unique talent. let me inspire you, cause you have been inspiring to me.
